The CF-1R-PV is the document that is generated using the CECPV calculator . The calculator is a standalone spreadsheet that calculates PV production based on provided parameters such as inverter type, module type, number of strings, roof pitch etc.. Anyone that has ever used OnGrid's SFA Tool will find the calculator a snap. Essentially the calculator outputs expected performance data for the PV system. The shading is taken into account as well.
As you probably know, shading crtieria for the NSHP is different than for the CSI. We are trying to gain clarity on this issue but generally you want to look at the worst shading scenario for every 22.5 degree segment.
The incentive is based on all of these performance criterion and assigned a dollar value.
